Now that the Holidays are over, I am getting back into the swing of things. Last night I wrote up 3 patterns and I still have so many ideas swimming in my head. I can't wait to get them all worked up!
The first pattern that I am posting is for a newborn hat. It is made with Homespun yarn. I use to hate working with Homespun, but have found the love for it. I can't get enough of homespun!
This hat works up SO quickly! I can work it up from start to finish in about 30 minutes.

Hi, I am a grandmother to be and found this pattern - it is so cute! Thank you for sharing your creative ideas. Need to go and find how to make pom poms now :-) Christine from Australia
ReplyDeletePom poms are easy but they do make a pom pom maker. You just wrap the yarn cut it and tie it and your done
Deletevery cute and I think I can make this hat for a good friend of mine who is having a baby later on this spring, I just don't know how to make the pom poms, I attempted to make them once but they turned out to be a disaster, I shall try again.
ReplyDeleteI still sometimes have difficulty with getting my pom poms just right.
DeleteI think I said how I do my pom poms in another pattern (here on the blog) I think it may have been the Turkey Hat.
I don't mean to be technical but when you say don't change do you mean I can't make it bigger to fit a bigger sized head?
ReplyDeleteBy don't change, I mean for reproduction of the written pattern.
DeletePlease, do feel free to use the pattern as a guide to making a larger size hat!
Here is another form of contact. -Kyla
