New projects are in the works!

 I have been keeping busy with writing up some new patterns!  I have worked up a new Market Bag and a mushroom pouch.  Which would you like to see first?

These market back use up a standard skein of yarn.  They take a couple hours, but the time flies!  The size is perfect for a day at the farmers market.

This little mushroom pouch is great for hikes.  You can fit a phone inside along with your keys to keep your hands free!

I am super excited to have new patterns in the works!

Popular Crochet Abbreviations

Have you ever been reading a crochet article, blog, or pattern and wondered what WIP, SC, or DC meant?  There are a lot of abbreviations and acronyms in the world of crochet.  It can be a little confusing until you get used to the lingo.  Here are is a list I have created over the years to help keep them all straight, until I started to get a little more fluent in the language of crochet.

What are some abbreviations or acronyms you use or have seen?  What is your favorite of the list?  Mine is "frog"  That one had me stumped for quite some time.  "Frog", the action of ripping a portion (or a whole project) apart...."rip it, rip it" (ribbit, ribbit).  Get it?  Ha!  It's still funny to me!

Common Crochet Abbreviations

r=round or row, depending on the type of project

st=stitch

sl-st=slip stitch
