Have you tried using Lion Brand Homespun? Did you find that you didn't like working with it? It is a very common complaint, not finding it easy to work with. I, too, use to avoid homespun. The secret for me was to work with a large hook. I found that working with an N hook made it easier to get use to. For me, I wasn't able to really see the top of my stitches and it would frustrate me. Now, I find myself gravitating towards Homespun more than anything else, especially in the colder weather.
I promise, it gets easier! Give it another try! My Cozy Cowl Pattern is a great easy pattern to give Homespun another go! My Cozy Cowl Pattern calls for Homespun and an N hook.
Ok, now for the Winterberry Headwrap pattern. :) This headwrap is "one size fits most". It fits both me and my 4 year old very comfortably! When I finished the headwrap, I decided it needed something, so I made one of my 3 layer flowers to attach.

Rookie here! I tried this more than once. No way the chain 16 will fit over anyone's head. What am I doing wrong?
ReplyDeleteThe ch 16 will be the width of the headband. :)
DeleteThis looks like a hat. Is it a hat or a headband?
ReplyDeleteIt is an extra wide headwrap. :)
