What you will need:
G hook
Worsted (4 weight) yarn
Scissors
Yarn needle
Abbreviations:
ch-chain
sc-single crochet
st/st's-stitch/stitches
sl st-slip stitch
Ch 2
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 1, turn (1sc)
Row 2: 2 sc in st, ch 1, turn (2sc)
Row 3: 2 sc in each st, ch 1, turn (4sc)
Row 4: 1 sc in first st, 2 sc in next st, 1 next 2 st’s, ch 1, turn (5sc)
Row 5: 1 sc in first 2 st’s, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in last 2 st’s, ch 1, turn. (6sc)
Row 6: 1 sc in first 2 st’s, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in last 3 st’s, ch 1, turn. (7sc)
Row 7: 1 sc in first 3 st’s, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in last 3 st’s. (8sc)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.

Starting with magic circle
Round 1:Ch 1, 5 sc in circle, join with sl-st to first sc
Round 2: *Ch 3, sc in 3rd ch from hook, sl-st into next sc* Repeat 4 more times ending with a sl-st into joined st from last round.
Fasten off, secure circle, and weave in ends.
