This pattern can be adjusted in countless ways. You can change the size of the stitches you use and/or you can change the hook size you use. You can even switch the size of yarn. Anything from crochet thread to the thickest yarn! The hearts would make an adorable garland, they look great on hats, they make a cute applique, you can even make a valentine with them. I have used this heart on my
water bottle Kozies, too!
The heart made with the I hook, dc's and hdc's measures about 1 1/2 inches wide.
Sorry about the quality of the photo, the lighting in here is terrible at night!

DeleteDo you have a pattern for breast cancer ribbon? I am making crocheted hats for chemo patients, and looking for pattern for ribbon. I love the little heart..made one!! Very easy to do. Will be adding them to future hats. Nice little touch. I have added flower and patients and nurses loved them. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you like the heart pattern! I don't have a breast cancer ribbon pattern...yet. I will see what I can come up with in the next week or so. I do know that there was a free headband pattern that had a ribbon pattern in it. It was cabled. At one time, it was a free pattern. I will see if I can find a link to it tonight.

I'm not used to magic circles yet. Can you explain what you mean by work all stitches into the circle? Thank you.
