There are TONS of ways you can change the Kozies up. With Spring right around the corner, you could crochet a few of my 3-layer flowers! That would be really cute! The free pattern for the flower can be found here.
I will post some additional Kozie ideas in a later post. :)
|Water bottle Kozie|
What you will need:
Worsted weight yarn
sl st- slip stitch
Round 1: 10 dc in 3rd chain from hook, sl st into first dc. (10dc)
Round 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in each st round, sl st into first dc. (20dc)
Round 3: Ch 2, 1 dc in each st round., sl st into first dc. (20dc)
Rounds 4-12: Repeat round 3
Do not fasten off!
After you have completed your last round
Row 1: Chain 3 (counts as first st) 1 dc in next 4 dc’s
(5dc). Chain 3 and turn.
Row 2: dc in next 4 dc making sure to dc into the chain 3 from previous round. (5dc) Chain 3 and turn.
Row 3-70 (or until strap is length desired): Repeat row 2.
Once you have your strap to the length you are wanting join the strap to the opposite side of the body using sl st on the INSIDE of the body, so your join won’t show.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
This is the water bottle Kozie pattern that I used to make my Valentine's day Kozie. :)
