These patters are for crochet afghan letter blocks A, B, C, D, and E. L was already posted here.
These letter blocks work up in about 30 minutes and measure approx 6 inches (before a border). If you are making a blanket with them I would highly suggest you border them with a sc around, to make joining easier and cleaner.
I can't wait to make a crochet blanket with these blocks/squares!

The only letter patterns that I have not tested out, yet, are the letter B and D. To give you an idea of how the letter blocks should turn out, here is a picture of what I have worked on:
