8 petal flower
What you will need:
H hook
Worsted weight yarn 2 colors I used yellow and pink
Scissors
Yarn needle
Abbreviations:
ch-chain
st/st's-stitch/stitches
sc-single crochet
sl st-slip stitch
Starting with yellow
Center of flower
Ch 2, 8 sc in to 2nd ch from hook. Join with first sc. Fasten off
Petals
Round 1: Join pink in any sc, ch 3, sl st into same st. *Sl st into next sc, ch 3, sl st back into same st.* Repeat 6 more times. Sl st into first st to join.

Round 2: working in the back side of the st’s of the first petal round: sl st into first st, ch 4, sl st into second loop of same st. *sl st into first loop of next st, ch 4, sl st into second loop of st.* Repeat 6 more times. Sl st into first loop to join.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

ReplyDeleteI don't understand this pattern at all. It says ch 1 then 8 sc into 2nd ch from hook, but if you only have 1 ch, then how are you supposed to sc 8 into the 2nd ch because the 2nd ch doesn't exist...
